Asia
Unit 731 is one of the Japanese military facilities where scientists undertook biological and chemical warfare research and conducted lethal human experimentation in Asia during the Second Sino-Japanese War (1931–1945) and WWII, just as the Nazis did in Auschwitz (1940-1945). Over the years, the destructive capabilities of biological warfare have increased, leading to the devastating dehumanization of those in war zones. While examining these past wrongs through the lens of medical ethics, the present wrongs will be revealed so that the future wrongs can be prevented.
