Reflections
"Living in Los Angeles, I understand the importance of diversity, but I believe we still need to work on inclusion. By learning from scholars, researchers, teachers, and others, I feel that I now have a deeper understanding of Korean culture and can enrich my classroom and community by providing counter-narratives through my curriculum. This experience has reminded me how important it is to connect with others and uncover the histories of other nations, as there are many instances of intersectionality, and together we can collectively create a more just and inclusive world."
