We, the Nikkei Resisters, recognize that our incarceration has fueled our fight for justice. We oppose President Trump’s attempts to use our incarceration to justify today's anti-Muslim and anti-immigrant campaigns. We condemn any attempt to enact a Muslim ban or registry. We will defend undocumented immigrants from the threat of deportation. We oppose the historic disenfranchisement of Native Americans. We stand in support of Black Lives Matter and an end to mass incarceration. We, the Nikkei Resisters, are opposed to all forms of social injustice and discrimination based on race, religion, national origin, gender identity, or sexual orientation. We, the Nikkei Resisters, know from our history that the Bill of Rights will not enforce itself. We know that democracy can only survive if we defend the rights of others and hold those in power accountable. Pacific Atrocities
